LASALLE COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) - The family of three men who died in an explosion near Starved Rock State Park in Northern Illinois hired a Chicago law firm to look into the case.

Thirty-nine-year-old Inmer Tejada, 39, Rafael Rivera Tejada, 36, and Guillermo Rivera Tejada, 26, died May 6 near Utica. LaSalle County Coroner said the men had been fishing and somehow ignited a “black, powdery substance.”

Investigators told the Chicago Sun Times the men were likely trying to light a fire to cook some food. The family’s attorney’s say they could take action in the case.
